Last June 29, 2017, we received your Philhealth Circular letter regarding the new
sytem,which indicated to stopped all transactions in POC program, and making way for
the new system so called POS to activate, we immediately stopped all the transactions
under the POC program, and waited for your good Office for the new mandated system
to be activated, which we will gladly apply as soon as the system is good to operate.
Formerly The Point of Care Office has a (2) Computer Destktop unit with a 10 mbps
internet capacity,which is exclusively used for ORE and Portal Service.

subject “Guidelines on the Implementation of Point of Service”, it has
identified specific requirements for government hospitals to partipate which
includes: (1) Medical Social Welfare Development certificate of DOH
training on assessment and classification of patient as indigent and; (2)
MSWD staff trained (with certification) on means test. The aforementioned
requirements has not yet been met thus prevents us from participating in the
Point of Service program. Relative to this matter, I am requesting your good
