Subject : Countermeasure for the Option sensor disconnection error (B163 B173).
Applicable Area : KCMSA, KCEI
Applicable Model : Mark 8 , Mark 10 all model

1. Background
Disconnection error (B163 B173) of the P1,P2 option pressure sensor occurs with N&B less
specifications in KCMSA, KCEI. Result of the investigation, the automatic distinction control
made false recognition the option sensor.

2. Countermeasure
We change the floor harness from the sealing cap to the jumper connector to
connect SIG and GND, in order to make the signel line always 0V.

1) For field machine

If this error occure, please change the sealing caps to this jumper connectors.

2) For mass production machine

We chane the drawing of the 'HARNESS ASSY, UPP' shows below.
