Group Scholarship Presentation Instructions
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the group scholarship presentation is to show you how to search and
review scholarships. You will also be exposed to different scholarships that you can
apply for. Each group will be assigned a full ride scholarship and a foundation or
corporate scholarship to research. In addition, each person will also be required to
find a crazy, funny, silly, and a community-based scholarship. In teams you and your
partner will research the 2 following scholarships assigned below, however;
individually, you will do research on additional 2 other scholarships. Scholarships
should not be repeated. As you do your research and find them, please add them on
to the shared scholarship excel sheet. Each group will also be required to do a 8-10
minute presentation on your personal and team scholarship findings. One
PowerPoint slideshow is required for your results and presentation. Please share

Group 1- Daniels Fund Scholarship and Coca-Cola Scholarship

Group 2- Greenhouse Scholarship and Google Generation Scholarship
Group 3- Boettcher Scholarship and Burger King Scholarship
Group 4- Gates Millennium Scholarship and Nascar Scholarship
Group 5- Questbridge Scholarship and Foot Locker Scholarship

For each scholarship, the presentation must include the following:

 Name of Scholarship
 Description of Scholarship
 Scholarship website
 Requirements
 Details of application: Does it need an essay, letter of recommendation,
resume?
 Applications process
 Amount awarded
 One time scholarship or renewable annually?
 When is the deadline and when does it open?
 Do you have to be a U.S. Citizen/Resident to apply?
