Polytechnic Institute of NYU partners with Israel’s College of Management

to provide the Master of Science in Management and the Master of Science
in Organizational Behavior to local students. There are currently over 1,500
graduates in Israel from NYU-Poly’s Israel Extension working as managers and
professionals throughout the country. These same graduate programs will be
offered to Master’s in Israel students.

Master’s in Israel graduate studies are supplemented by hands-on, experiential

Israel education and by the city of Tel Aviv. Students live in beachside apartments
with immediate access to the vibrant city scene of Israel’s cultural capital.

MSM - Master of Science in Management (36 credits)

NYU-Poly’s MS in Management takes a pragmatic, modern, results-oriented approach

that emphasizes integrating technology and people for the creation of value in the
marketplace and in modern organizations. This contemporary program is aimed at
developing competencies in modern decision making and in the selection, allocation and
direction of human, financial, physical, technological and organizational resources in a
period of rapid technology-led change. These management skills can be applied in a
broad range of professional settings in both the private and public sectors, in production
and service-oriented activities and in traditional as well as high-technology environments.
After completing the core courses, degree candidates build further managerial skills in
their choice of concentrations all designed for success in the global economy.

The Master of Science in Management degree (MSM) is recognized, along with the Master
of Business Administration (MBA), by the Graduate Management Admission Council as
a graduate professional management degree. NYU-Poly’s MSM is designed to prepare
working professionals for responsibility in management positions.

NYU-Poly’s MS in Organizational Behavior is designed to provide professionals and

managers with the latest knowledge and techniques for addressing critical human issues
in rapidly changing organizations to achieve high quality, productivity and job satisfaction.
The course of study is designed for students with a wide variety of experience and needs.
These typically range from graduates in psychology or behavioral science to those who
have studied human resources or other areas of management. Some of the unique
a s pec ts of the progra m foc us on topic s tha t a ddres s ra pidly c ha nging work environments .
Examples include conflict resolution in a turbulent and uncertain organizational climate,
utilizing job and workplace design to improve motivation and performance, addressing
human resource issues in organizations a ected by globalization, enhancing organizational
e ectiveness through human resource information systems, and managing innovation
and technological change. With the unique knowledge and skills acquired from the
Organizational Behavior program, graduates have been able to pursue successful careers
in prestigious firms ranging from high-tech to financial institutions as well as in the public
sector, or as private consultants.

Master’s in Israel students get out of the classroom and…TRAVEL: Explore Israel on monthly
group excursions guided by Israel’s most experienced tour educators; SPEAK HEBREW:
Study the language of Israel in bi-weekly courses, intended to provide basic conversational
fluency; VOLUNTEER: Engage in Tikun Olam (Repairing the World) when you volunteer in Tel
Aviv communities, according to their needs and your talents; ACCULTURATE: Learn about the
history, culture, religion, politics and contemporary issues of the Israeli people in our lecture and
interactive program series.

The full tuition for fall semester entrance to Master’s in Israel is $24,340, but qualifying students
will automatically receive a universal grant from MASA, reducing tuition to $19,840. Tuition
includes graduate studies, housing, frequent travel days, Hebrew study, and Israeli lecture/
program series. MASA also readily awards needs-based scholarships to qualifying students. A
reduced tuition of $17,840 ($13,340 with MASA universal grant) is available for students who
wish to find their own accommodations.
