Mr. Os 3.

0 2018

On Thursday, May 10, 2018 SCOME CIMSA Unpad has conducted an event entitled
Mr. Os 3.0. This event was conducted in C.3.1.1 and C.3.12 building Faculty of Medicine Universitas
Padjadjaran. Mr. Os 3.0 was held due to the lack of preparation for the 2nd semester students in facing
the OSCE. At this event we facilitate 2nd semester students by providing tools and materials as a
learning tool in order to prepare for the OSCE (Objecive Structured Clinical Examination). The goal of
this event is that this event can contribute to the preparation of the 2nd semester students facing the
OSCE (Objecive Structured Clinical Examination)

SCOME CIMSA Unpad cooperates with academic team of class of 2017 and some
students of second semester, where they will become facilitators in every stase. In this event
we provide the tools and items of the 7 topic to be tested on the OSCE consisting of: Assessment,
Classification, and Documentation of Injury, Physical Examination of Hematology Problem,
Basic Surgical Skills, White Blood Cells Differential Count, Wound toilet and Debridement of
open fracture , Dermatological Examination, and Adult Basic Life Support. The topics are chosen
because they include the stages with the greatest failure rate on the OSCE 2016 and the topic
considered difficult for the 2nd semester students according to the assessment. Each topic will
be divided into 2 stase, one stase in C.3.1.1 and one stase in C.3.1.2, so there are a total of
14 stages.

The event begins with a recitation of Al-Qur'an and followed by a LOME and Project
officer speech. After the opening the participants are divided into 14 small groups that will enter
each stase after the entry bell rang. After the entry bell rang the participants enter their respective
stase. In one stase, the participants are given 30 minutes. In the first 10 minutes, the stase
facilitator will explain to the participants and practice what to do during the actual OSCE. In this session
the participants were enthusiastic to pay attention to the stase facilitators and ask some things they
still do not understand. In the next 20 minutes, participants are given the opportunity to practice
independently and for participants who want to implement OSCE simulations, we also provide an
assessment sheet to measure how ready the participants are at the stase. After 30 minutes the
participants move to the next stase, until the participants enter all 7 stase.

The event ended with the distribution of the assessment sheet and the small gift of
souvenirs of candy to the participants. We hope this event will contribute to the preparation of the
participants in the OSCE so that participants have more mature and better prepared preparations for
the OSCE examinations.
