- the AWC Dissertation thesis (final document and presentation)


can include only the student’s personal work (the contribution in
terms of simulation, implementation, testing, etc.). Hence, all the
introduction and state-of-the-art chapters related to the dissertation
subject can be presented during the first three semesters of study
as results of the Research Activities and are not included in the
Dissertation work;

- 5 out of 17 AWC professors have the PhD Habilitation title;

- during 2014-2018, more than 20% of the foreign AWC graduates


were accepted as PhD students at our doctoral school.

Suitable candidates: graduated engineers (Romanian or foreign candidates with a good command of English) in the
fields of Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science and Information Technology, Automation Engineering,
Industrial Engineering and Management (graduates from the Economic Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, and Energy
study program).
