Advertisement for hiring of Specialist and Support Staff for AIWTD Society.
AIWTD Society intends to hire the following Specialist and Support Staff viz. (1) Financial Specialist (2) Procurement
Specialist (3) Financial Management Assistant (4) Procurement Management Assistant (5) OSD to SPD (6) Executive Assistant to
ASPD and (7) Office Management Assistant. The Additional State Project Director, AIWTD Society now invites applications from the
eligible candidates for providing the Services in AIWTD Society.
The Job Descriptions for the positions are given in the website http://www.iwt.assam.gov.in. Depending on the
qualifications, experience, competencies, etc. of the candidate, the Consolidated Remuneration are shown below against respective
positions. The minimum required qualification and experience are given in-short below; however, detailed qualification and
experience shall be as given in the Job Description for the positions placed in the website.
Sl. Positions Qualifications, Experience and Age Remuneration
1 Financial  Graduate and Post Graduate in Commerce (Accountancy / Finance); or Rs.1,20,000.00
Specialist  Graduate in Commerce (Accountancy/ Finance) with MBA/ PGDBM in Finance. to
Preference will be given to professionals having CA or ICWA qualifications (in such cases Rs.1,50,000.00
post- graduation or MBA / PGDBM is not required Per Month
 8 years of professional experience in financial management and accounting practices.
Minimum 2(two) years of work experience as a head of or independent charge of
finance and accounts wing of Government/private organization. Preference will be
given to candidates having previous experience of working in Govt. department or
Externally Aided Projects.
 Age: Not more than 55 years on 1st February, 2017.
2 Procurement  Masters degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Law, Procurement, Finance, Rs.1,20,000.00
Specialist Business or Commerce) and relevant training in procurement work. Candidates having to
Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (PDPP) or Certificate Program in Public Rs.1,50,000.00
Procurement (CPPP) from World Bank will be preferred. Per Month
 8 years procurement experience with State/ Central/ Corporate/ Government/ NGO/
Banking sector, of which minimum 2 years should be working on World Bank/externally
aided projects.
 Age: Not more than 55 years on 1st February, 2017.
3 Financial  Commerce Graduate/ Post Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University) Rs. 35,000.00
Management  In-depth knowledge of financial management procedures applicable for World Bank to
Assistant funded projects and having hands on experience of operating Tally accounting software, Rs.50,000.00
along with minimum 2 (two) years of experience in financial management related Per Month
activities in any World Bank funded projects/ Externally aided projects or similar Govt.
of India funded projects/National level reputed projects. Proven practical skills in the
area of Financial Management aspects .Demonstrate awareness of World Bank Financial
Management policies, best practices, etc.
 Age: Not more than 40 years on 1st February, 2017.
4. Procurement  Graduate/ Post Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University) in any discipline with Rs. 35,000.00
Management  In-depth knowledge and understanding of World Bank’s procurement guidelines and to
Assistant procedures along with minimum 2 (two) years of experience in supporting procurement Rs.50,000.00
related activities in any World Bank funded projects/ Externally aided projects or similar Per Month
Govt. of India funded projects/National level reputed projects.
 Age: Not more than 40 years on 1st February, 2017.
5 OSD to State  Graduate in any discipline from a Govt. Recognized university. Advanced knowledge in Rs. 35,000.00
Project computer applications, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet, to
Director email etc. Rs.50,000.00
 Experience and skill in human resource management. Strong Background in public Per Month
administration. Experience of working in Government/Semi Government organization.
Experience in World Bank Project or any other Externally Aided Project is preferable.
 Age: Not more than 55 years on 1st February, 2017.
6 Executive  Graduate in any discipline from a Govt. Recognized university. Advanced knowledge in Rs. 30,000.00
Assistant to computer applications, particularly in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet, to
the email etc. Rs.45,000.00
Additional  Minimum 3(three) years work experience in World Bank or any other Externally Aided Per Month
State Project Project.
Director  Age: Not more than 40 years on 1st February, 2017.
7 Office  Commerce Graduate/ Post Graduate (from a Govt. recognized University) Rs. 35,000.00
Management  Advanced knowledge of Office Management, proficiency in MS Office Applications (like to
Assistant Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project etc.) including email, along with minimum 4 (four) Rs.50,000.00
years of experience in any World Bank funded projects/ Externally aided projects or Per Month
similar Govt. of India funded projects.
 Age: Not more than 40 years on 1st February, 2017.
Candidates not meeting the above minimum requirement need not apply.
Candidates having the requisite qualification, age and experience may apply in English language as per the prescribed CV
