Auxiliary Craft 6
The Argo was originally a specialized shuttlecraft developed by the crew of the Enterprise-E for ferrying
cargo and vehicles between orbit and planetary surfaces when conditions preclude the use of
transporters. The design is fairly conventional, though the nacelles are more integrated with the body
than is usually the norm for Federation shuttles.
The Argo has been designed with a range of vehicles. Most prominent amongst these is a wheeled
recreational / general purpose vehicle designed to enable away teams to cover larger areas of ground
than they would otherwise be able to. The vehicle is fitted with a phaser cannon to provide a limited
defensive capability.
Fully capable of hauling 20 tons of Cargo.

In the recent shift from Starfleet's attention away Exploration and Colonization to Defense, there was a
call for a small but powerful craft to carry small strike teams or to operate of reconnaissance vehicles.
The Anaconda Class was Starfleet solution. Based on the Danube class Runabout design, its slightly
smaller, sleeker and Faster and carries a lot more punch for its size.
The Anaconda Class Runabouts main purpose is as a small Marine Transport. It is the first Vessel to apply
entirely Biogel technology and a revolutionary new Warp Core design for small vessels. At this stage of its
of the Anaconda Development Project the Warp drive is reliable, however problems are predicted in the
future. The Anaconda also features an advanced Impulse Drive that improves maneuver ability at full
impulse speeds.

Class History: There are several experimental configurations implemented into the new Lorimar Class Runabout. The vessel is
controlled by a single Trojan Drop ship computer core, which affords greater processing power and speed. In
addition to a new computer core, the vessel also utilizes bioneural gelpacks in place of the slower and less
effective isolinear chips. The Lorimar class will be able to be reconfigured with equipment and instrumentation
which can be used for a variety of tasks and missions.

Lorimar Class Runabouts utilize the same "modular" construction in regard to interior makeup. They
are compatible with standard Starfleet multi-use compartment modules and are much easier than
even the conventional Runabouts being that the warp engines and wings feature a "gull" design which
swing open for easy access to the interior.

Auxiliary Craft 25
Class History: This runabout was designed to help replace some of the older and out of date shuttles. This runabout is
designed to carry out many types of missions, mostly transferring people or cargo, but when needed, it
can be adapted for combat.

This runabout’s design is based on the ever popular Akira-Class starship. You could say it is a smaller
version of the Akira, as it has a small role bar with the nacelles bent down like the Akira. It has the same
cockpit layout as the Danube-Class runabout.

The Mustang-Class runabout is made with a normal Duranium/Tritanium single hull. Like the Danube, it
can land and take off from planets.

There are multiple layouts for the Mustang. Usually one ship is set up with one layout, but if needed the
runabout’s configuration can be changed. The types are: regular, transferring, medical, marine, and
fighter.

In the regular layout some of the sleeping modules can be exchanged with cargo modules. This can be
accomplished at any station and some ships.

The Mustang has one deck with everything that is needed here. Different variations of the same layout
are available. The regular layout has a crew area in the back with small spartan sleeping compartments.
On either side of the corridor leading to the dining area. The medical variant has a triage area in the back
and other small rooms were the quarters would usually be. The marine variant has a briefing room (that
is also used to eat) in the back with storage and bunkers in the middle. The fighter configuration has a
totally different layout. It has two seats in the cockpit instead of four, with a station at the back. It has
stored torpedoes in the back and middle. You can accesses these rooms by a hatch leading from the
cockpit.

The Mustang’s computer core is a twin core located underneath the cockpit. It has 186 isolinear banks
and fifty-three command preprocessors and data analysis units. The Mustang has only standard sensors
except for the fighter variant. The fighter has replaced the science sensors with tactical sensors.

The medical variant carries four EMH Mark-Vs. They are used to supplement the medical crew in their
duties.

Auxiliary Craft 26
The Mustang has two warp nacelles located at an angle from the roll bar. They are bent down exactly like
the Akira’s nacelles. The warp core is horizontal and is located underneath the main part of the shuttle. It
has a 12 hour speed or warp 5.2. This can be pushed if needed, but is not usually done because the core
will over heat faster and the fuel will run out quicker. This is the maximum rated safe speed and is most
efficient.

The impulse engines are located at the back of the runabout. They can reach up to a maximum of 0.35c.
The ship usually goes 0.30c.

The shield system has a total capacity 56,700 TeraJoules and covers the whole ship. In an emergency, a
second shield system can be activated, but is not as powerful and can only take a few hits.

The Mustang has 6 x Type IV phaser arrays, total output 750 TeraWatts. These are located in strips and
around the ship. Two are located on the nacelles (One on each nacelle). There is one in the front and
back. The last two are on the role bar in a half circle.

The Mustang has 2 x Standard Mini-photon torpedo tube + 24 torpedoes, but can carry up to 4 full size
photon or quantum torpedoes. The tubes are located on the role bar with both facing forward. In an
emergency, the aft hatch can be opened to layout the torpedoes like mines.

In the Medical variant, there are the two phaser arrays and two torpedo tubes with 12 mini-photon
torpedoes. The other weapons have been taken out to make room for patients.

In the fighter configuration there are two phaser cannons and four torpedo tubes, two facing forward and
two facing back. It can carry up six full sized torpedoes and fifty mini-photon torpedoes.

The Mustang has one tractor beam located at the back of the ship. It can handle a mass of 500,500 metric
tons. As it cannot handle a lot it does not usually tow anything. It uses a pair of 10 MegaWatts graviton
polarity sources.

The only transporter area located on all the variant is at the back of the cockpit. You have to walk
through this area to get to the back section of the runabout. It has two pads with a range of 150.000
kilometers. In the Medical layout, people can be beamed right to the area they need to be in.

Auxiliary Craft 27
All but the medical variant have med kits. Just above the med kits in the cockpit and in the aft section are
were the replicators are located (except in the fighter variant). There is a dining area in the back (except
for the fighter and medical variant). In the fighter variant it is an area that holds extra weapons and in the
medical, layout the triage center is located here.

All variants have escape pods that can carry up to five people. The fighter variant has one that can be
accessed by a hatch in the floor. This pod can only hold two people.

Computer Systems:
* Core: Isolinear data core x1
* Software: Starfleet Library Computer Access and Retrieval System (LCARS)

In all, Starfleet designed an all-purpose runabout that can accomplish many types of mission. This vehicle
was designed to accomplish four main missions; to transport cargo or people, act as a recon vessel, take
medical treatment to the people in need, and to take on tactical missions.

The McCoy class stems from a starfleet requirement issued in 2285 for a new class of medical vessel. It
would incorporate a complete Starbase level mobile hospital capable of catering for up to 1,000 patients.
The warp and impulse drives, computer systems, etc. where also to be up to the latest standards.

One of the unique things about the McCoy class is that all it's control systems, bridge, engineering,
everything are located in the Saucer section. Almost the entire Secondary hull is devoted to Medical
purposes.

The ship was launched in November of 2292, and completed its shakedown successfully in 2293. Series
production began at once, and over seventy ships were built. The McCoy has proved very successful in
service, and is highly popular with its crews.

Body Armor
M-100 Standard Marine Armor

Personal protection for a Marine in combat operations is essential. Marine Body Armor is designed to provide a balance between protection and weight. The body armor is separated into
upper body and lower body protective gear. The Marine Body Armor consists of the same CADM (Crystalline Ablative Dispersal Matrix) that is utilized in the Marine Ballistic Helmet. The protective
vest contains remote bio-monitors, which measure the wearer’s health, and a personal transport inhibitor designed to prevent enemies from using transporters against Marine units.
The CADM (Crystalline Ablative Dispersal Matrix) Ballistic Helmet is fitted with a retractable visor for a full seal. The helmet contains an advanced multi-function communications system.
Operated by pupil tracking and a verbal short hand, the Ballistic Helmet allows a Marine hands-free operation of the unit while concentrating on fighting and other attention-intensive tasks. The
helmet's multi-function communications system can send the Marine's coordinates to units nearby, perform mapping and navigation functions, and project command and mission data on the
visor. It also includes a helmet-to-helmet infrared communications link, allowing discrete, short distance communications between individual Marines while lessening the chances of interception,
communications signal encryption, as well incorporating standard com-badge traffic. The Ballistic Helmet's visor also operates as a data screen for the user's Combat Tricorder and other linked or
integrated systems. The visor's systems open programming structure allows it to accept multiple signals and upgrades in the field. It also features a three hundred sixty degrees’ proximity and
target/threat tracking display, low light vision enhancement with rapid polarization, and audio enhancement/suppression to prevent disorientation. Sensory enhancements and protections can be
modified to accommodate different species' sensory requirements; although after a certain point of acuity, the helmet is configured to allow a Marine's senses to work without the helmet's
interference. Each Marine's helmet is equipped and programmed to assist them in tasks specific to their position and MOS such as target designation, range finding, and chemical analysis. Officers
and NCOs get units with more processing power and a broader range of capabilities and command functions, including signal interception, analytical functions, and troop status readouts. The
Standard Marine Armor can withstand 75 points of energy damage and 50 points of physical damage.

MUBA-321 “Cryer” Urban Body Armor

A poly-carbonated Duradium-Kevlar Mesh covering light ceramic plates within the body armor. The Armor includes a full helmet that come with thermal optic visor, with a visual range of
2000 feet, built-in sound sensors, with a radius of 500 feet, and a built-in communicator. The visor can link with data screen for the user's Combat Tricorder and other linked or integrated systems.
The Armor can withstand 125 points of energy damage and 75 points of physical damage.
Adaptive Camouflage System: The armor literally changes color to match the predominant color of its surroundings. This includes streaks and mottled patterns of dark green, gray, brown, and
black to create a camouflage pattern outdoors in a woodland setting and similar light/color patterns to help conceal the wearer. The suit also masks infrared and thermal emissions to make the
suit invisible to thermal optics and sensors.
Utility Belt with Dual Holsters: Comes standard with a utility belt that has several pouches for carrying any number of supplies. Urban Warfare missions usually entail getting in and out of
buildings and other urban settings where combat is likely to be close combat. Consequently, a dual phaser holsters comes standard.
Battery Powered: The “Cryer” is powered by two of the same batteries that power the TR-560 Tricorder.

MTPA-446 “Semper Fi” Tactical Power Armor

A poly-carbonated Duradium-Mesh skin with 3 cm thick Tritanium plates covering a light micro-fusion powered Exoskeleton (Powered for up to 6 months of continuous use) that increases
the wearer’s Strength by 20 and allows him to move up 60 kph with only a 10% fatigue rate. The Suit is fully environmental seated with a built-in communicator in the helmet. The suit has a water
reclamation system that will provide usable water for up to 3 months. The Power Armor is capable of absorbing 200 points of energy damage and 125 points of physical damage.

Vehicles 45
The M-346 includes the following…
Built-in Vocal Activated Tactical Tricorder: Offering the user LCARS Operating System projected on the Helmet’s HUD System, with both Forward-facing Directional Sensors (50-mile range) and
Omnidirectional Sensors (100-mile range) as well as a 9.12 kiloquad Data Storage Capacity. The tricorder has an in built Subspace Transceiver Assembly (STA) for the transfer of data to other
devices. The tricorder also houses a default RF (Radio Frequency) transmitter, in case the STA is inactive or damaged. The transmission range of the STA is 40,000 kilometers and universal
translator with a 98.7% with a 1.5 second delay.
Telescopic and Night vison Optics: Passive light amplification that allows the pilot, gunner and communications officer to see in the dark as long as there is at least some ambient light. Telescopic
Range: 2 miles (3.2 km), but is completely useless in total darkness. But with the Tricorder, the Marine could have the HUD project a false image including the sensors infrared and ultraviolet
readings.
EMP Shielding: Specialized shielding protects the power armor from EMP attacks and electrical blasts do half damage.
Magnetic Climbing System: Magnetic plates built into the armor’s feet and the underside of the hands can be activated to enable the power armor to scale vertical surfaces made of metal, and
climb on top of (and cling onto) Starships moving under directional thrusters. Reduce speed 50% when walking via magnetic climbing plates.
Emergency Site to Site Transporter: The wearer can transport to safety up to an area 100-miles away.

Personnel Phasers
Type 2f

The Type-2f is the latest hand Phaser to come out of R&D. This weapon has 18 settings rather than the standard 16 of the Type 2e. The Type-2f is now the standard sidearm for Starfleet personnel,
including the Marines (the marine version looks slightly different, see the marine page for more info). This weapon has an additional Sarium Krellide power cell embedded into the center section,
giving this Phaser the ability to reach the extra power settings with a longer power life. As with any sidearm, the main three type of beam are Stun, Heat, and Disruption. The added settings allow
for greater precision when using these functions. It has a range of 100 meters.

Type 3d

Sometimes referred to as assault rifles, the Type-3d utilizes plasma acceleration to provide a powerful bolt of energy similar to that fired by pulse phaser cannons on the Defiant-class
starship, and at variable power levels. The Type-3d phaser rifle is a much larger, more sophisticated weapon than Type-3b. It uses an advanced computer control system to allow for modulation
characteristics to be modified faster than in previous phaser rifles, important when dealing with the Borg. The rifle has a range of 600 meters. First placed in service in 2373, the Type-3d Phaser

rifle also includes a much more effective and elaborate targeting system and a larger energy reserve over the Type-3c. The Rifle is equipped with a gyro-stabilized targeting unit. This targeting unit
incorporates sensors capable of detecting and tracking life forms and can perform the equivalent of tricorder short range biological scans. Images of the targeted life forms would be displayed on
the units display screen. The Type 3d is being phased out as the main rifle for Starfleet Officers and relegated to a reserve role, with the introduction of the Type-3e. Many Starships have a small
supply of these aboard, usually stored aboard large auxiliary craft, such as Runabouts, and in small weapons lockers.

Type 3e Phaser Rifle

Sometimes referred to as assault rifles, the Type-3e utilize plasma acceleration to provide a powerful bolt of energy similar to that fired by pulse phaser cannons on the Defiant-class
starship, and at variable power levels. The Type-3e phaser rifle is a much larger, more sophisticated weapon than Type-III and even the Type-3d. It uses an advanced computer control system to
allow for modulation characteristics to be modified faster than in previous phaser rifles, important when dealing with the Borg. The rifle has a range of 750 meters. First placed in service in 2378,
the Type-3e Phaser rifle also includes a much more effective and elaborate targeting system over the Type-3d. The Rifle is equipped with a gyro-stabilized targeting unit. This targeting unit
incorporates sensors capable of detecting and tracking life forms and can perform the equivalent of tricorder short range biological scans, with a scanning range of 10,000 yards. Images of the
targeted life forms would be displayed on the units display screen.

Type 3f

Like the Type-3e, it utilize plasma acceleration to provide a powerful bolt of energy similar to that fired by pulse phaser cannons on the Defiant-class starship, and at variable power levels.
The Type-3f phaser rifle is a larger and more sophisticated weapon than previous Phaser Rifles. It uses improved targeting and scanning abilities as well as an improved ACC (advanced computer

control) system to allow for modulation characteristics to be modified faster and at a wider range than in previous versions, important when dealing with the species like the Borg or the Holy
Order of the Kinshaya who use personal shields to protect their ground combatants. The rifle has a range of 800 meters.
Scheduled to be placed into service in 2391, the Type-3f Phaser Rifle's more effective and elaborate targeting system has improved sensors which allow for faster target recognition and at greater
range. The Rifle is also equipped with a gyro-stabilized targeting unit. This targeting unit incorporates sensors capable of detecting and tracking life forms and can perform the equivalent of
tricorder short range biological scans, with a scanning range of 12,500 yards. Images of the targeted life forms would be displayed on the units display screen.
The Type-3f also incorporates an additional Sarium Krellide power cell giving this Phaser Rifle the ability to reach the extra power settings with a longer power life.

Type 1a Photon Rifle

The photon rifle is a heavy support weapon and is much more powerful than any Phaser rifle. It is capable of firing photon rounds known as a photonic pulse (essentially micro torpedoes) at
variable power levels, and focus settings. The photonic pulse emits large bursts of rapid nadion particles which are found in phaser beams. They can pierce most known personal armor and
shielding. This weapon is very successful against the Borg as no one Photonic pulse has the exact same modulation, thus the Borg find it very hard to adapt. It uses an advanced computer control
system to allow for manual modulation too, if needed.

First placed in service in 2375, the Type-Ia Photon Rifle also includes an elaborate targeting system, similar to the one used on the Type 3d Phaser rifle. Carrying a reserve of 20 shots, the Rifle is
equipped with a gyro-stabilized targeting unit. This targeting unit incorporates sensors capable of detecting and tracking life forms and other programmed targets. Images of the targets would be
displayed on the units display screen. When used with the TDU, this rifle offer unparalleled targeting and sighting.

The photonic pulse shots this weapon fires are similar to photon grenades, one of the most devastating personnel weapons developed by the Federation. This weapon's use is strictly controlled
and regulated. This rifle has 4 different power settings and may be set to affect everything within a radius of between 2 and 10 meters from impact, with an effective firing range of 550 meters.

Isomagnetic Disintegrator
Type 1a

This large, shoulder mounted weapon resembles an ancient Earth bazooka. Much of the technical data on this weapon remains classified, under Starfleet security directive 24168.9 The
Isomagnetic Disintegrator features a portable magnetic charge inducer which fires a purple pulse of isomagnetic energy to disrupt the targets electromagnetic field. When used against lifeforms,
the effect can be set anywhere from stun, to a temporary impairment of the central nervous system, and all the way up to the highest setting that disintegrates the target to dust and vapor. The
unit is powered by a heavy duty sarium krellide power cell inserted just to the rear of the shoulder mount.

Tricorders
TR-590 Mark X Tactical Tricorder

The TR-590 Mark X tricorder was introduced in 2371 as successor to the TR-580 Mark VII tricorder. This model was somewhat smaller at 7.62 x 15.81 x 2.84 cm and massed 298.3
grams. This tricorder design, while nearly identical in physical design and control interfaces, was streamlined and made much smaller than its predecessors with a much more angular design. A
durable casing design of duranium allowed the TR-590 to function in otherwise hostile environments such as underwater, temperatures of five-hundred Kelvin, the upper atmosphere of a planet,
and planets suffering nuclear winters.
TR-590 tricorders were capable of performing a variety of tasks ranging from recording time trials to playing holographic messages. The Mark X series tricorders as issued to Starfleet
Marines personnel, they're then usually reconfigured specifically for finding / identifying / tracking hostile targets (often beyond line of sight), identify weapons, vehicles and explosives, as well as
double as a rudimentary medical tricorder for the administration of basic first aid during combat situations when medics aren't immediately available. They featured directory structures and built-
in universal translators to facilitate organization and analysis of sensor data. Sensor emissions from TR-590s were reported to cause unpredictable changes in certain temporal distortions. To
prevent such interference with other objects, the TR-580 could be configured to perform passive scans or even be locked into a continuous scan, thereby recording data even when stowed. The
TR-590 tricorder was capable of interfacing with a variety of other computer systems including non-Starfleet networks and could even be linked with other tricorder units to form a small,
independent network. It was also designed to upload data it acquired remotely to a Federation starship. It has a maximum range of 10,000 meters.

Vehicles
Type 1 Federation Ground Scout

Originally designed by Commander Geordi LaForge in 2379 as part of the Argo type Shuttle/Runabout, this ground Scout/ATV has become an interracial part of the Starfleet Marines' arsenal.
Unlike most modern ground vehicles (Starfleet and civilian alike), the Scout ATV is wheeled, not a hover vehicle. This allows the Scout to be used over rougher terrain and in areas where damping
fields are present. The Scout ATV can carry up to three personnel, a Driver, Spotter, and rear Gunner and has limited armor for them. The only weapon is a rear mounted Type-4b Phaser. The
Scout ATV has a top speed of 120 kph. By 2400, 3500 were in service.

Vehicles 51
Type 1 Federation Main Battle Tank
Design began during the Dominion War, but was shelved after the Peace Treaty was signed. However, following the Borg attack of 2381, Starfleet Marine R&D pulled the design back out, dusted it
off, modernized it, and submitted it to Starfleet Command. The idea was to provide heavy firepower to support ground forces, as well as protection from enemy fire. In 2387, the first 'Main Battle
Tank' in Starfleet was built, tested, and fielded. The Somme Class MBT or sometimes referred more peaceful as 'surface defense escort', is equivalent to the 20th and 21st century main battle
tank. It's main weapon is a Type-2 Micro-Torpedo Launcher originally designed for the Valkyrie Class Fighter, giving it considerable punch. A Type-XI Phaser Array on the turret provides additional
firepower and support. Most systems come with considerable redundancy. For defense, the Somme Class is equipped with a Class 6 hull conformal shielding system, also originally designed for
the Valkyrie Class Fighter. The lower aft section of the hull feature a tractor beam for towing. Optical systems and sensor strips surround the craft providing the crew with full 360-degree vision
and detection.
The Somme Class operates via anti-grav 'tracks' on the bottom of the hull. While this system has been effective for all terrain types, the system can be shut down by high output damping fields
and damage to the vehicle, this has been the single biggest drawback to a successful design. By 2400, 750 were in service.

Vehicles 52
Type 1 Federation Armored Personnel Carrier
Design began in late 2387 on a more versatile armored vehicle and transport for Starfleet Marines. While Starfleet Marines were equipped with Runabouts for transport across the battlefield,
many ground commanders wanted a ground vehicle that could support their personnel already on the ground and safely transport them forward or wounded out of danger in areas Runabouts
couldn't land. The approved design would be for a modular vehicle that could be fitted with a Type-4 Phaser in a turret for protection and support of ground troops. Each would be operated by a
crew of three; a Commander, Driver, and Gunner/Operations Specialist. The turret also features an Electronics Warfare Dome that scrambles nearby enemy sensors and communications.
By late 2388 the design of the vehicle itself had been finalized. It allowed for up to 10 fully armed Marines to be carried in the rear compartment. The design allowed for the turret to be removed
if necessary, like when the APC is used for medical evacuations. The vehicle hovers, but also features retractable tracks to be used if power to the anti-grav system is offline.
The physical design harkened back to early 21st Century designs, however an important innovation is the Adaptive Hull Coloration System, which allows the Tank Crew to alter the color and shade
of the vehicle's hull to allow it to better blend into its surroundings. By 2400, 600 were in service.
