The program started with a prayer led by Mrs. Jessica O. Balatbat, followed by
the singing of national anthem conducted by Mrs. Ma. Johnna A. Garcia and a thought
for the day by Mrs. Teresita I. Capitulo. Mrs. Elsa F. Aguilar, the School Head of Capas
West Central Elementary School welcome everyone warmly on the first day.
On the first day, Mrs. Sarah S. Santok, as the Over-all Chairman Qualitative
Research, led the teachers in Definition and Significant Characteristics of Qualitative
Research, The Conduct of Qualitative Research, Conduct of Qualitative Research and
Writing Qualitative Research Proposals
On the second day, the INSET, Mr. Ferdinand G. Marcos inspired the teachers to
Review of Related Literature. Through the effort of Mr. Jose Roy B. Balatbat, Jr., he
tackled the different methodologies on qualitative research.
The INSET was conducted to keep abreast the school faculty with the latest trends and
best practices in research. The INSET has not only provided the participants an opportunity to
gain new skills and knowledge, but also encouraged them to make positive changes around
them. The participants also got an opportunity to address the learning difficulties of the pupils,
and can satisfy the curiosity of teachers to understand existing issues in the school and how to
address them through research.
The INSET ended with the commitment of each teacher to pursue better education for
the learners of Flora Primary School and different schools in Capas West District. Indeed the
Semestral Break schools has been fruitful and productive.
