OBITUARY
Leo Carroll Booth
Dec. 7, 1923 - March 16, 2005
Leo Carroll Booth, 81, of
Norton, died Wednesday at
Norton County Hospital.
The son of Clifford and Alice
Booth, he was born Dec. 7, 1923,
in Orleans, Neb.
He attended rural grade school
in the Long Island area.
During World War II he served
in the U.S. Army.
On Sept. 18, 1949, he and Bar-
bara Skrdlant were married in
Norton. They lived in Phillipsburg
for a short time and then returned
to Norton where he was a lineman
with Norton-Decatur Electrical
Co-op for more than 30 years.
He was a member of the
Harmonson-Redd American Le-
gion Post and the Veterans of For-
eign Wars, where he was the medi-
cal equipment chairman for many
years. He also coached Little
League baseball for several years.
