pancake mix and syrup, Hamburger & Tuna Helper are of great help. Just a

Horizons 8th Annual
Garage Sale this year is
on Thursday, July 26th,
in the Fellowship Hall @
St. John’s from 7AM – 5PM. As you are
downsizing or cleaning out, please consider
donating items. We accept all items in good
condition, including working appliances or
furniture. Children’s clothing only will be
accepted (NO adult clothing). Donations may be
dropped off on Tuesday, July 24 from Noon –
5PM or Wednesday, July 25 from 9AM – Noon.
All monies raised will be donated to Bright Pastor Randy Rasmussen currently lives in Nebraska
City, NE with his wife, Shelli and his son, Dylan 21.
Horizons for survivors of domestic violence and His oldest daughter, Torrie, lives in Los Angeles,

MN. He went to school for Agri Business and
eventually began working in Agricultural
Communications. He worked at several radio
stations in the upper Midwest as a Farm Broadcaster
and also worked for the National Association of
Farm Broadcasters.
He attended seminary in Berkeley, CA and was
recognized at this year’s Synod Assembly with 10
years of ordained ministry. Pastor Randy is currently
the Senior Pastor at First Lutheran Church in

Thank you for sending me to Carol Joy Pastor Randy & Shelli have a passion for mission

To the children who receive school kits, these
supplies mean the difference between getting an At Polar Blast VBS, kids will go on an icy
education or not. Public school is usually free, but in cool adventure where they’ll discover
places where LWR works, even a few required that Jesus will always love them: this
