The country has many talented singers and many popular music albums which are
very popular across the country. Many top albums in the country are the evergreen
collections in the music industry. Many singers and top music directors have
contributed a lot in the Indian music industry. There are many famous Bollywood
albums of all time. This statement means the music is still and always in trend in all
the seasons and years.

Singers like Mohammad Rafi, Kishore, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, Sonu Nigam, A.R.
Rahman and many more have contributed greatly to the music industry in India. Dr.

1. Aashiqui

Aashiqui is a 1990 Indian Hindi musical romance film and first installment of
Aashiqui series directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal and
Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles. The film was known for its music, by composer duo
Nadeem-Shravan. The soundtrack album has been rated the fourth best ever by
Planet Bollywood on their "100 Greatest Bollywood Soundtracks".

The soundtrack album sold 15 million units, making it the best-selling Bollywood
soundtrack album of all time.

2. Dil to Pagal Hai

Dil to Pagal Hai is a 1997 Indian musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The
film follows the love lives of the members of a musical troupe, in which two
dancers played by Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor compete for the love of a
choreographer played by Shah Rukh Khan.

It was the second most commercially successful Hindi film and its music in the year.

3. Raja Hindustani
Raja Hindustani was the third most commercially successful Hindi film of the 1990s.
Made on a budget of 57.5 million, the film went on to gross 763.4 million
worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year and the third highest-
grossing film of the 1990s at the Indian box office. The film's music became popular
and was successful, especially in the central and eastern states of India.

4. Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!

Earning over 1.35 billion (equivalent to 6.3 billion or US$94 million in 2017)
worldwide, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! became the highest-grossing Bollywood film. It
contributed to a change in the Indian film industry, with new methods of
distribution and a turn towards less violent stories. It was the first Hindi film to
gross over 1 billion, and when adjusted for inflation, is the highest grossing Hindi
film of the 1990s and also still one of the highest-earning Bollywood films ever. Box
Office India described it as "the biggest blockbuster of the modern era.

5. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Earning 1.06 billion (valued at about US$32,766,000 in 1995) in India and 160
million (valued at about US$4,946,000 in 1995)[a] overseas, Dilwale Dulhania Le
Jayenge became the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year, and one of the
most successful Indian films of all time. It won 10 Filmfare Awards, the most for a
single film at that time, and won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film
Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Its soundtrack album became one of the
most popular of the 1990s.
