ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Inspection of work site for identification of unsafe act and unsafe condition & reporting for its early liquidation &
giving best remedial measures for its compliance.
 Making changes to working practices that are unsafe and comply with legislation;
 Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy;
 Leading in-house and onsite training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks;
 Recording of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements and follow-up for its
compliance;
 Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health (Near miss cases, first aid case,
Dangerous occurrence and major accidents)
 Being up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive
(HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry;
 Managing and organising the safe disposal of hazardous substances from site premises.
 Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery
