C&C Landfill Recycling Center Pilot Program


Starting August 6, Calhoun County residents, who are not served by a single hauler recycling contract, may pick up a pass from
their city, village, or township offices which will entitle them to bring a load of recycling equivalent to a 96 gallon cart to the landfill
recycling center for free per visit. Program is limited to residential recycling and participants must show pass to scale attendant at
landfill. This recycling center is single stream and requires no sorting. Pilot ends December 31, 2018.

Hours: Monday—Friday 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 12 PM
Accepted Items: magazines, catalogs, junk mail, office paper, phone books, newspaper, cardboard, paper bags, paperboard,
plastic jugs/bottles (#1 & #2), household plastic (#3—#7), aluminum cans, steel & tin cans, clear glass, and colored glass.
