Recruitment Process:

Recruitment process is carried out as planned in yearly man power planning, however the exercise is also
undertaken on “as and when” basis.

HRD is responsible to determine the job specification of all positions and vacancies in consultation with
departmental heads. The Employee Requisition form includes:

1) Position Title
2) Appropriate Education
3) Job Description
4) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities.
5) Relevant Experience

After receiving the ERF, HRD will organize the process of recruitment as appropriate, for e.g. Data Bank, Head
Hunters, Advertisement & Referrals.

Upon receiving/collecting the applications, the HR will conduct the initial screening process and align maximum
candidates as per requirement Job specifications of advertised positions. The candidates rejected may be sent
regret letters if necessary.

Selection Procedure and Guidelines

Selection procedure starts with the interviewing process of screened applicants. Selection procedure should
remain same either for Group or individual hiring. The HRD will recommend at least minimum three candidates
of each position. The followed in order to initiate induction of new employee:

1.The Department head initiates requests for the appointment of scheduled hiring as per Annual Manpower
plan. The Employee requisition form (ERF) is required by the Department head in order to
initiate the hiring process of vacant position.

2.HR initiates the selection process by providing screened and preliminary interviewed candidates to the
immediate Supervisors. Then, in consultation with Departmental Head recommends the final
candidate to be appointed through Interview Assessment Form (IAF). The other proposed
candidate may be sent regret letter of necessary.

3.In case where none of the proposed candidates earn recommendation, HR will arrange more candidates
by the available prescribed sources. Upon compiling all necessary information the candidate may
be issued letter of appointment.

4.HR hands over the set of joining documents to pertinent Departmental Heads/directly to the incumbent
(what ever the case may be) it is responsibility of HR Department to ensure proper filling and
completion of documents.

5.The originals sets of documents are sent to HR Department to complete employee file and process other
facilities like the Employee ID’s, E-mail.

6.The HR sends the employee first email to inform him the Company policies procedures and his/her
benefits.

Orientation

The orientation ensures that the new employee is made aware of his/her:
Job responsibilities, role in the company, Department and Co-workers and other associates. The HR
department will brief the new member of staff about the company, its procedures, operations and
general business practices.
