ANNIVERSARY OF MH 370 25/2/16

March 8 will mark the 2nd Anniversary of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 which was travelling to Beijing when it
disappeared from radar. Despite finding a flaperon on Reunion Island, authorities have still been unable to
determine what exactly happened to the plane carrying 239 people.

In June the current phase of the search will complete and the government has indicated that the search will end.

How to pray?

1. Continue to pray that the plane will be found, so that families affected may be comforted and will receive
closure to this unfortunate episode. Pray for good weather, for new leads that are reliable and that the
Malaysian government will remain committed to finding the plane.
2. Pray for those who have lost their loved ones in the air tragedies in the recent years including those of
victims of MH370, MH17, QZ8501. Pray for God’s hand of comfort in the midst of the questions and anguish,
and pray that we as Christians will demonstrate God’s love as many mourn.
3. Pray for the government of Malaysia and the administrator of MAS to act honourably, in consonance with
human rights, rule of law and international obligations, treating families of victims with compassion. Pray
that Malaysia Airlines will take responsibility with regards to MH370, allowing the necessary compensations
to family. Pray for justice and proper closure for this incident.
