India. Operationalized in December 2009, Invest India has been set up as a not-
for- profit joint venture between Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion
(DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India; Federation of
Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI); and State Governments of
India.
