Jim and Candy Meyer
My husband, Jim, and I just moved into our home
over the Memorial Weekend and are loving our new
lifestyle here. We came from our last home of fifteen
years in Tigard, Or a suburb of Portland. Before that
we lived in a Coeur d’Alene, Id for nine years. I was
born and raised in S. Cal (Torrance/Redondo Beach
area) and Jim moved there from S Dakota at the age
of 13. We met 42 years ago at Hughes Aircraft and
have been married 35 years. We have 4 children and
7 grandchildren and look forward to having them visit
us here!
We both just joined the Pickleball club, and look for-
ward to being active in that. Jim is a woodworker and
also just joined that club. We love going to the gym
and I look forward to getting into the water aerobics classes. We love the area and after exploring SC
Grand, and a few other communities, we knew Festival was the one for us.
