TCHH call drop during very early assignment

Description: BSC sends CLEAR REQUEST to MSC to clear the current connection when any
of the following cases take place: 1) In very early assignment, the connection between MS and
BSC fails due to various causes after MS has access the allocated TCH. 2) In intra BSC or inter
BSC handover procedures, the TCH handover on TCH fails due to various causes. For details,
see TCH drop for very early assignment in BSC Measurement Function.

Measurement point: This item is measured when the channel type in the following procedures
is "Half rate TCH" and the service type is signaling.
1) After MS seizes the channel, BTS sends ERROR INDICATION to BSC due to connection of
radio link layer abnormal, and the cause of abnormal is timer T200 expired (N200+1) times
(0x01), unsolicited DM response, multiple frame established state (0x05) and sequence error
(0x07). This item is measured when BSC receives this message. See "GSM 0858".
2) After MS seizes the channel, BTS sends CONNECTION FAILURE INDICATION to BSC
due to radio link failure or hardware failure (see GSM 0858 for details). This item is also
measured when BSC receives this message.
3) In the procedure of incoming BSC signaling channel handover, the target cell receives
HANDOVER DETECTION and HANDOVER COMPLETE. This item is also measured when
errors detected in the messages during decoding.
4) This item is also measured in incoming BSC signaling channel handover procedure, when the
target cell waiting for HANDOVER COMPLETE times out.
5) This item is also measured in outgoing BSC signaling channel handover procedure, when the
source cell waiting for message of CLEAR COMMAND times out (T8 expiry).
6) This item is measured in intra BSC signaling channel handover procedure, when the source
cell or target cell waiting for message of HANDOVER COMPLETE times out.
7) This item is also measured when call drop occurs caused by forcibly channel seizure.
8) This item is also measured when the disconnection of RSL of the TRX where the channel is
borne.

Formula: None.

TCHF call drop

Description: BSC sends CLEAR REQUEST to MSC to clear the current connection when any
of the following cases take place: 1) Handover procedure fails due to various causes after MS
accesses the allocated Full rate TCH; 2) After the conversation has already set up on Full rate
TCH, call drop occurs due to various causes.

Measurement point: This item is measured in the following procedures, when the channel type
is "Full rate TCH", and the service type is voice or data.

3) This item is also measured in incoming BSC traffic channel handover procedure, when the
target cell waiting for HANDOVER COMPLETE times out.

4) This item is also measured in outgoing BSC traffic channel handover procedure, when the
source cell waiting for message of handover complete and resource clearance message CLEAR
COMMAND times out (T8 expiry).

5) This item is also measured in intra BSC traffic channel handover procedure, when the target
cell waiting for HANDOVER COMPLETE times out.

6) This item is also measured in intra BSC traffic channel handover (non Direct Retry handover)
procedure, when the source cell waiting for HANDOVER COMPLETE times out.

7) If both BSC and MSC support forcible seizure, then the calls of low priority may be robbed
off the radio resources by the calls with high priority, thus call drops occur.
