As agreed during the Regular Membership Meeting last 18 May 2018, the PHILGBC National
Secretariat will be soliciting comments and recommendations from the PHILGBC Membership on the
Philippine Green Building Code for the Legislative Committee in preparation for a policy brief for the
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

All comments and recommendations must be submitted by 17 August 2018 in preparation of the
policy brief.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Completely fill in the Form – Comment – PGBC. Forms with incomplete fields will not be
processed.
a. Under Contact Information, complete your contact information to allow us to
validate, clarify or confirm your recommendation for the Philippine Green Building
Code.
b. Under Comment,
i. Clearly declare your Issue in one concise statement.
ii. Provide the specific Rule or provision related to your issue.
iii. Provide an Analysis or explanation on why that specific Rule is problematic.
Include your reference standards, best practice, or example scenario that
supports your Analysis of the Issue.
iv. Provide your Conclusion or recommendation on how to improve the Rule.
Submissions without recommendations will not be considered by Legislative
Committee in the preparation of the policy paper.
2. Save the file in a Portable Document Format (pdf).
3. Send the accomplished form to the PHILGBC National Secretariat through email at
legislative@philgbc.org.
