Notification under Section 9(2)(bb)(i)

BY virtue of the powers vested in me under Section 9(2)(bb)(i) of Registration of Persons Act, No. 32 of 1968,
I, S. B. Navinna, Minister of Internal Affairs and Wayamba Development hereby inform that a fee of One Hundred Rupees
should be paid in respect of an application forwarded under aforesaid Section 9, for registration and obtain a national
identity card for the first time with effect from 01.09.2018.

I hereby cancel the notification published in this regard in the Gazette No. 1922/25 of 08th July 2015.

REGISTRATION OF PERSONS ACT, No. 32 OF 1968

Notification under Section 16(2)(b)(i)

BY virtue of the powers vested in me under Section 16(2)(b)(i) of Registration of Persons Act, No. 32 of 1968,
I, S. B. Navinna, Minister of Internal Affairs and Wayamba Development hereby inform that a fee of Five Hundred Rupees
should be charged in respect of the duplicate of an Identity Card under aforesaid Section 16 of the Act with effect from
01.09.2018.

I hereby cancel the notification published in this regard in the Gazette No. 1922/25 of 08th July 2015.

REVISION OF FEES CHARGED BY THE DEPARTMENT FOR REGISTRATION OF PERSONS TO ISSUE

DUPLICATES OF AMENDED IDENTITY CARDS UNDER SECTION 17 (2) AND REVISION OF FEES CHARGED
TO ISSUE A NEW IDENTITY CARD IN PLACE OF IDENTITY CARDS WHOSE VALIDITY PERIODS HAVE
EXPIRED UNDER SECTION 17 (4) OF THE REGISTRATION OF PERSONS ACT, NO. 32 OF 1968

IT is hereby informed that the fees charged by the Department for Registration of persons for the services rendered in
respect of the activities listed in the schedule below are revised as mentioned against each activity with effect from
01.09.2018.

I hereby cancel the notification published in this regard in the Gazette No. 1922/25 of 08th July 2015.
