Proposed Carwash & Retail Buildings

Dear Sir:
Pursuant to your authorization to provide geotechnical engineering consulting
services for the above referenced project, the accompanying Geotechnical
Engineering Report has been prepared
Based upon the subsurface conditions that were encountered during our
exploration, the results of laboratory tests, and the findings from our liquefaction
potential and earthquake-induced settlement analysis, it is our conclusion that the
proposed development is feasible from a geotechnical engineering standpoint,
provided the recommendations contained herein are incorporated into project
planning, design, and construction. Structural support for the proposed buildings
should be provided by conventional spread footing foundations that are constructed
into compacted/engineered fill soils,
The contents in this report should be reviewed in detail and be made a portion of
the project design package. Please contact this office if any questions arise
regarding the contents of this report.
Respectfully submitted,
WESTERN LABORATORIES
