INTERESTS

Volunteering: has included Journalists for Human Rights, the U of O’s English Debating Society, the
Vagina Monologues. I’m also part of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO’s Youth Advisory Group.

Politics: served as a House of Commons Page, but it was three years as a Parliamentary Tour Guide that
fed me the trivia to become a Hill junkie.

Arts: of all sorts, including a year of Visual Arts (new media) and Art History courses in university.

Travel: which, among other adventures, involved a one-year Rotary Exchange to Udon Thani, Thailand.

Etcetera: running, reading, knitting, a bit of print and radio freelancing, John Hughes films and indulging my
inner hipster with independent music. During my MJ, I also tended bar at Carleton’s graduate student pub.
