Patients Crossing Borders INDIA’S INBOUND MEDICAL TOURISM

Medical tourism is being seen as the apple of the eye by Indian government, and certainly it has the
potential to generate employment and bring foreign exchange .Is India able to lure patients with its
highly qualified (as per international standards)English speaking, state of the art infrastructure of
hospitals? This article is an attemept to get the answer of the question, where India stands in the
rank of medical service provider and what are the roadblocks.
