Seal Technology Elastomer Seals

S-Seal
The S-Seal is an interference-type seal utilizing metal coil springs molded integral to the seal
corners as anti-extrusion device. The S-Seal is used where there is a machined gap between the sealing bore and shaft
(i.e., tubing hanger neck and tubing head adapter bore). There are both OD and ID applications for the S-Seal.
CS-Seal
The CS-Seal is an interference seal used to bridge large extrusion gaps associated with sealing
rough mill casing (up to 30 in. pipe).

T he conventional O-ring seal is very limited in its ability to bridge large extrusion gaps and remain intact
without some kind of anti-extrusion device. T3 has a solution for this situation. T3 seals are designed and
tested to cover a wide range of pressure and temperature applications and service.
