I wish to express my interest for a position of Hairdresser at Chester’s Wife Rose.

I am constantly driven by my love for hair and the industry itself, always delivering the best of my
abilities to my salon and customers alike. Having recently relocated to Adelaide from Melbourne,
I am looking for a salon where I can hone the skills I have gained and continue to further my
abilities as a hairdresser. Although I have only recently completed my apprenticeship in June of
this year, I have been working with clients for several years, providing cut, colour and styling
services. I identify my main strengths as a hairdresser are my long hair cutting, and colour work,
particularly my freehand balayage technique, however I am passionate about all facets of
hairdressing.

I am a confident and clear communicator with the ability to adapt my communication style to
different audiences. I value the importance of quality customer relations and am always willing to
assist my entire team in providing a high standard of customer service. As a result of this, I was
able to build and sustain a solid clientele whilst working in Melbourne. When it comes to retail
sales and ongoing performance results, I pride myself on meeting personal targets as well as
encouraging and supporting my team so that the salon as a whole can thrive. I have had amazing
opportunities and experiences in my years of hairdressing, working in a high-end boutique salon
that prides themselves on the ongoing education of staff and latest trends within the industry. I
also have extensive knowledge of how to run and manage a busy salon and retail environment,
with my salon coordination skills being of quite a high standard.

Whilst I have only been in the industry for the last few years I have been quite fortunate in the
opportunities offered to me and I have accomplished some high achievements. In 2017, I was
named the Kerastase Ambassador of the year for Victoria for being a strong advocate for the
brand and achieving retail targets, and as a result I won a trip to the L’Oréal Academy in Paris. I
was also part of the Goldwell Rising Stars team for Victoria, presenting my first live show with 3
colour models, and earlier this year, I was named a finalist for HBIA’s Apprentice of the Year.

I am a determined team member and an extremely proactive individual and I believe I would
make a strong addition to your team. I look forward to the opportunity of discussing my
