Education
2015-2018 1st Class (Hons) Physics BSc, University of Exeter
Energy and the Environment 75%
The main component of this module challenged our team to develop a strategy to
combat the UKs growing energy demand - using only renewable sources. Strong
collaboration in our group pushed us to produce a realistic, high-quality strategy. I
took a lead role in the group; delegated areas of research and kept track of our
progress. I was also responsible for combining everyone’s work into a coherent
report and presented our findings to the class. We were awarded a First Class for
our work.
Nanostructures & Graphene 80%
This unusual and rewarding self-taught module challenged me to research ground-
breaking scientific work each week and present my findings to an audience. This
culminated in two 3000-word reports summarising my research and a 20-minute
presentation about the transport properties of graphene which improved both my
literary and verbal communication skills.
