SPECIFICATION FOR HELIUM NEON LASER GENERATION MODULE

1.0 SCOPE
Fabrication, assembly, delivery and guarantee of the following

2.0 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Helium-neon laser module
2.1.1 The laser module should be cylindrical in shape mounted on a mount
and provided with a power supply. Both the mounting arrangement and
the power supply are included in scope of supply.
2.1.2 The laser module should meet the following requirements:
2.1.2.1 Output Power: 2.0mW
2.1.2.2 Wavelength: 632.8nm RED
2.1.2.3 Polarization: linear
2.1.2.4 Mode: TEMoo
2.1.2.5 Beam Diameter(1/e2): 0.8mm
2.1.2.6 Beam Divergence: 1.0 mRads.
2.1.2.7 Polarization Ratio: 500:1
2.1.2.8 Noise (RMS) C: 0.1%
2.1.2.9 Input Voltage : 220 VAC, 50-60 Hz
2.1.3 Please note that only cylindrical shaped laser modules are acceptable.
Further, any type of diode laser will not be acceptable.
2.2 Safety goggles
2.2.1 Should be safe to use with the He-Ne laser module
2.2.2 Wavelength : 600nm-700nm
2.2.3 OD 5+, High VLT
2.2.4 Packing list should include one laser glasses, one cloth for cleaning
and one black case
3.0 GUARANTEE: One year
4.0 DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
4.1 Item should be delivered to BARC north gate. The item should be packed such
that the material does not get fractured during transit. On unpacking if any item is
found damaged then the same should be replaced free of cost.
4.2 All taxes should be clearly mentioned. If exemption certificates are required
then it should me mentioned in the offer. Please note that custom duty
exemption certificate cannot be provided.

 4.3 At the time of delivery, the following documents must me send along with the
item:
4.3.1 Warranty Certificate (for one year)
4.3.2 Delivery challan
4.3.3 Tax invoice
4.3.4 Advance Stamped Receipt
4.3.5 Particulars of bank account of supplier for ECS payment
4.4 Packing and forwarding: If packing and forwarding amount exceeds 3% of the
basic cost or else original proof for payment of entire charges needs to be
furnished
4.5 Payment: No payment will be made at the time of delivery, and no advance
payment will be acceptable.
5.0 NOTE TO BIDDER
5.1 The bidder shall provide item-wise quotation for the items mentioned in article 1.0.
Prices on a per piece basis should also be included. If the bidder mentions aggregate
price without mentioning the prices for individual pieces on a per piece basis, the bids
will be rejected. The bids may also be rejected if the quotation does not mention the
prices of all the items.
5.2 All the taxes, duties and other government levies shall be clearly mentioned in the offer.
The testing, inspection, packing-forwarding-freight and delivery charges if any should
be mentioned in the offer.
5.3 Proof of ability: The bidder shall provide, along with the quotation, adequate proof of
show their capability to execute the job such as copies of the previous purchases orders
placed on the executed by the party for the reputed firms (Indian and international).
Specific mention should be made of previous supplies made to BARC, along with
names and contact details of indenting officers and the purchase order numbers.
5.4 As a part of the offer, the bidder shall confirm point by point their acceptance of the
various requirements and deviations if any from the specification.
5.5 Delivery date: Bidders must provide their earliest delivery date after placement of
order on them.
5.6 Quotations found incomplete in any respect and also deficient in clarity about technical
and commercial terms will be summarily rejected.
