Officer, and served for the other years in various notable positions.

His exemplary performance in the said firm was recognized when he received the “SyCip Award”, the highest distinction
given to a staff member. What primarily contributed to the conferment of this award is when he accepted relocation,
even at a financial sacrifice, to the Iligan Branch as Officer-in-Charge. Within a short period of time, the administration
of branch affairs and management of audit engagements were greatly improved. It was also through his extraordinary
efforts which enhanced the SGV image in his community through close relationships he aggressively established with

didn’t get into his head; rather, he continued discharging his duties and responsibilities with energy, enthusiasm, and
courage to lead. He also demonstrated integrity, respect and teaming, and continued to build relationships based on
doing the right thing. Eventually, he was awarded One of Far East Asia Ten (FEA) Values Champions for 2007 by Ernst &
Young Chairman’s Value Awards. This award recognizes partners and staff across the global organizations who
demonstrated each of the Firm’s Value Statements.

He isn’t just great in doing his job but also that he is a significant member of his profession. During 2012, he was
awarded by the Professional Regulation Commission the “Outstanding Professional of the Year” in the field of
accountancy. This is the highest award bestowed upon a professional as recommended by his peers for having amply
demonstrated professional competence of the highest degree and conducted himself with integrity in the exercise of his
profession, participated meaningfully in professional activities through the professional organization, contributed
significantly to the advancement of the profession, and contributed significantly to the effective discharge of

Management at the Asian Institute of Management. His solid academic performance fortified by his excellence in the
profession led his alma maters recognizing him as most outstanding alumnus on the years to follow.

Despite all the achievements, nothing is more rewarding from having a wife and children who are successful in their
careers because of the inspiration and motivation they got from a model father.
