commissioning of equipment and undertaking turnkey jobs. The company have set up
state of the art data centers at Bangalore and Naini Units.

The Network Systems Unit of ITI Limited is conducting Skill Test/Group Discussion
for the selection of suitable personnel for posting as Contract Technical Assistants in
GPON and other projects at various locations across India.

CONTRACT TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of three years. The contract may
be further renewed subject to organizational requirement and performance of the
official.

QUALIFICATION

Essential: The candidates should possess Diploma in Engineering in Electronics /

Electronics and Communication / Telecommunication / Electrical & Electronics /
Electrical / Computer Science with computer operating skill. Preference will be given to
the candidates having knowledge of computer.

Candidates with Engineering Degree Qualification will not be considered for this post.
UPPER AGE LIMIT

Not more than 30 years relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities, 3
years for OBCs (Non-Creamy Layer) and Ex-service personnel in accordance with
Central Government guidelines.

REMUNERATION
The remuneration payable will be Rs. 8,000/-, pm in the 1st year, Rs. 8,500/- in the
Second year and Rs. 9,000/- in the Third year of the contract. The contract and term
may be extended on need basis and emolument shall be enhanced as per the Company
policy.

Essential: The candidates should possess 10th Pass, ITI certificate in Electrician /
Electronics Mechanics / Information Technology / Instrument Mechanic / Information
Communication Technology System Maintenance / Computer Hardware & Network
Maintenance / Computer Operator and Programming Assistant. Preference will be
given to the candidates having knowledge of computer.

UPPER AGE LIMIT

JOB PROFILE

 Project handling work like Maintenance of Switching, Transmission, NMS and

Optical Fiber equipment.
 Maintenance of Auxiliaries equipment like AC’s, DG’s, inverters and SMPS
Power Systems.
 IP routing and protocol in general
 Basic telecom equipment installation procedure
 The optical and electrical test instruments for day to day maintenance activities

The Incumbent should be able to work round the clock to attend faults at Telecom
network/ working exchanges.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Management.

MEDICAL STANDARD

Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standard prescribed
by the Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to medical fitness
duly certified by the Company’s Medical Officers. No relaxation in health standard is
allowed.

discussion/ Skill Test.

While appearing for Group discussion/ Skill Test, the candidate should bring the
following certificates in ORIGINAL for verification and with self-attested photocopies
of each for our records:

(i) The print out copy of online filled application form. Should affix a recent
photograph in the space provided in the print out of the application form.
(ii) Self-Attested photocopies of certificates and Marks Sheets in proof of Educational
Qualification (X standard / SSLC and onwards).
(iii)Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority if the candidate belongs to
SC/ST category S.
(iv)Recently obtained community certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the
prescribed format (not older than 6 months as on the date of advertisement) if the
candidate belongs to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category.
(v) Valid disability certificates issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed
format if the candidate belongs to PWD category candidates.
(vi)Service Certificate if the candidate belongs to Ex-Service Men Category.
(vii)In case of candidates from Government / Quasi Government / PSU, ‘No
objection letter’ from the present Employer has to be produced.
