REINSTALACIÓN/ACTUALIZACIÓN DE FIRMWARE ENERGY MP5

DJ/URBAN

Antes de comenzar asegúrate de que tu ordenador está libre de virus y de que el reproductor tiene
la batería totalmente cargada.

Instala en tu ordenador el software de actualización

"Energy_MP5DJ_URBAN_Series_Update_Tool_V5.36”. Para ello simplemente ejecuta el archivo
SETUP.EXE y sigue los sencillos pasos que te indicará el asistente.

Importante: No desconectes el reproductor ni apagues el ordenador mientras se realiza la

actualización.

Para reinstalar/actualizar el firmware de tu ENERGY MP5 sigue los siguientes pasos en orden:

1.- Inicia el programa de actualización de firmware "Mass Product Tool" desde el menú inicio
de Windows.
2.- Conecta tu ENERGY MP5 DJ o URBAN al ordenador utilizando el cable USB
proporcionado con el producto o algún otro cable USB similar y compatible, y comprueba
que el programa detecta correctamente el dispositivo.

3.- Pulsa sobre "Import Firmware".

4.- Pulsa el botón indicado en verde en la imagen y selecciona el fichero de firmware con
extensión .FW que has descargado de la web.
Nota: Asegúrate de que el firmware que te has descargado de la web es específico para el número
de serie de tu ENERGY MP5 DJ o URBAN, ya que si instalas el firmware incorrecto el dispositivo
podría dejar de funcionar correctamente.

5.- Pulsa sobre el botón “Replace” y selecciona “Sí” cuando aparezca el siguiente mensaje:

6.- Selecciona "Download" para que se inicie la actualización de firmware.

7.- Una vez el proceso haya finalizado con éxito el contador “Passed” se incrementará
mostrando el número 1. En caso que el firmware estuviera corrupto, o que la actualización
no se hubiese completado con éxito, por favor repite los pasos 1 a 6.

8.- Una vez finalizado el proceso, desconecta tu ENERGY MP5 del ordenador.

REINSTALLATION/UPGRADE

First of all make sure that your computer is virus free and that your player is fully charged.

Install in your computer the update program

"Energy_MP5DJ_URBAN_Series_Update_Tool_V5.36”. To do it, just run the SETUP.EXE file
and follow the easy instructions of the installation wizard.

Important: Do not unplug the player or turn off the computer during the update.

To upgrade the firmware of your ENERGY MP5 DJ/URBAN please follow these steps:

1.- Start the firmware update software "Mass Product Tool" from the Windows Start menu.
2.- Connect your ENERGY MP5 player to the computer using the bundled USB cable and
make sure the software detects the device.

3.- Click on "Import Firmware"

4.- Select the button enhanced in green in the image and select the .FW firmware file you
have downloaded from the web.
Note: Make sure the firmware you downloaded from the web is specific for the serial number of
your Energy MP5 DJ/URBAN Series, because if you install an incorrect version the device could
stop working properly.

5.- Click on the “Replace” button and select “Yes” when the following message will appear:

6.- Click on "Download" to start the firmware update process.

7.- Once the upgrade process is finish successfully the “Passed” counter will increase
showing the number 1. In case the firmware was corrupt, or the update process not ended
successfully, please repeat steps 1 to 6.

8.- Once the process is finished you can disconnect your ENERGY MP5 DJ/URBAN Series
from the computer.
