Um feixe de luz, ao incidir sobre uma superfície, retorna ao seu meio de
origem. Graças a esse fenômeno conseguimos enxergar os objetos ao
nosso redor, pois a luz incide sobre os corpos, fazendo com que os raios
de luz cheguem aos nossos olhos, possibilitando a nossa visão.

A refração é um fenômeno que ocorre quando a luz passa de um meio
homogêneo e transparente para outro, também homogêneo e
transparente. Nessa mudança, podem ocorrer alterações na velocidade e
na direção da luz.
