Procedural Steps

Purpose
To book a Business Event

Menu Path
SAP Easy Access -> SAP menu Human Resources Training and Event
Management > Business Events > PSV2 – Business Event Menu

Transaction Code
PSV2

Procedure
Enter the Transaction code PSV2 in the command field (refer the following
screen)

Or go as per the navigation shown below and click PSV2 – Business Event menu

Press <Enter> or key, the following screen will appear

Let us expand the sub-tree for the first node “Technical training for Officers”, the screen will
look as shown below. (Click on the triangular icon)

Click once

Select (click once on this node) the PLC and click once on the Business event on the top
menu bar (refer screen above), the following pull down menu appears

And

Navigate up to the option with Resources (refer screen below)

When we Click on the “with resources” option the following screen appears

In the above screen

a) Change the start and end dates of the Planning period field

b) From the Drop Down list, select and populate the value in the Location field

c) Click on the Resource Selection push button, the following pop up window
appears.

Click on the details button, the following pop up screen appears

The above screen shows that no resource is assigned.

Click on the check mark button to close the above pop up window, the screen will return back
to the earlier Resource Selection Overview pop up window

And

Click again on the check mark button to close the pop up window, the following screen
appears

Using the drop down list, select the required value for the Company .

The screen will look as below

Click on the save button, the system will return back to the following screen

If we expand the PLC node, by clicking the right side arroe button, the following screen shows the
details of what we have created above

Return back to SAP Easy Access Screen or Home Screen, by clicking

the left arrow button.
