Dear Kevin and Cam,

My name is Amanda Myers and I'm a reporter with The Associated Press in Phoenix. During that time,
I've covered several of the state's major wildfires, including Brins in Sedona, the Lane 2 fire in Crown
King and the Cave Creek Complex.

At all of these fires, PIO Eric Neitzel proved invaluable to my reporting. He organized media tours of
the fires, always had the latest information on what the fire was doing and how managers were fighting
it, and in general was professional and pleasant.

I would go as far to say I have never come across a more helpful public information officer. I wish the
rest of them could be as effective as Eric.
