Guidelines for Game of the Generals

Each team shall have 4 players.

Number of players 2 players - male category
2 players - female category.
Bracketing Person-in-Charge: PE Teachers (TBA)
First round: single elimination
Elimination Semi-finals: best of 3
Finals: Best of 5
 Not in proper and complete jersey uniform. Borrowing of jersey is
not allowed. Shorts and shirt must be worn by the players.
 Using of foul words. Any use of foul words, threat, intimidation
made by one player to another player will result to
disqualification from the game. The player will not be allowed to

play anymore.
 Coaching. Giving or getting help from the audience and other
players will result to disqualification for the round. The player who
was coached or was coaching will lose the round and will
automatically make their opponent winner by default
Grace period: 5 minutes.
Failure to come on time will result to a default for the first round.
Call time
Another 5 minutes will be given to the late player and his/her failure to
attend will result to the default of the whole game.
Sportsmanship Players should shake hands before and after the game.
 The player will only be given a maximum of 1 minute and 30
seconds to make their move.
 Any questions regarding the rules of the game will be decided
by the persons in charge of the game.
 The persons in charge will decide on the disqualification of the
members.
 Before a player will be disqualified, he/she would be given a

warning and be informed of what offense he/she has
committed.
 No substitute player will be allowed to play in behalf of an
absent player. The only players who are allowed to play are
those who are in the official lists of players. No substitutes will be
allowed.
 Touch move rule
 The schedule of the game will be posted outside the
venue/room where the game will be held with the list of players
who will be playing for the day.

 It will also be announced in the gymnasium an hour before the
game starts.
