a makeup application palette that gives minerals-makeup wearers plenty of room to work with minerals

"For use in applying minerals, the container lids are obvious but they're not practical,” said Molly
Fleming, who custom-designed the Minerals Mate palette as an alternative. “You can wash the Minerals

The white Minerals Mate palette has four small and three large wells to accommodate all sizes of brushes,
from the smallest eyeliner tip to the largest kabuki brush. The ABS-made palette washes with soap and
water (or on the top rack of the dishwasher) so users can start with a clean palette every day. It also has a
thumb rest that doubles as a brush wash; the palette's wells also can be used for cleaning brushes.

Available at this time exclusively online, the Minerals Mate palette comes with a satin pouch for storing
leftover minerals safely, and a spatula for mixing minerals, or scooping up minerals when too much of a
good thing spills out.

“Spillage is an important factor behind Minerals Mate products,” Fleming said. “It's easy to get too much
minerals in the cap when you shake out your minerals. So, what do you do? With the Minerals Mate

the flow of minerals. The sifters, which have a click-action mechanism, can be set to open, half-open or
