 1- Company Overview

Our sister company, “Qirnas”, is currently supplying all huge chain supermarkets in
Kuwait for general food items, cheese, olive oil, spices, and has its own production
facial tissue facilities.

“Qirnas”, is located in Star tower, 25th Flr., “Al Merkab Area”, Kuwait, and registered for
“General Trade and Consumer Goods”. “Qirnas” has its own separate management
under our group and which is based in Bahrain.

”Qirnas”, is currently requesting proposals for huge quantity of spices as the bellow
table for continuous supply over 2014 – 2015. (Annex A)

2- It is expected that the proposal will include

1- Your best price(s) – C.N.F. Kuwait
2- The delivery time for an order after our confirmation
3- The detailed specs of your products
4- The details of the packing you offer – inner and outer
5- Samples of the items
6- Payment terms
7- Guarantees on quality

3- Evaluation Criteria
1- Suitability of the proposal
2- Expertise in recommending and communicating appropriate technical and
aesthetic solutions as evidenced by the proposal and references
3- Factory / supplier experience level
4- Value/Pricing Structure and Price Levels
5- Proposal Presentation – The information shall be presented in a clear, logical
and an organized manner
6- Payment terms
7- Samples approval
8- Demonstrated commitment to high service level agreements
9- Stability of prices and continuation of supply
10- Exact typical requested items and the weights as mentioned in Annex A
11- Possibility of granting us exclusive dealership on your products

4- Technical Requirements
1- Chemistry of items – as per the set standards of the relative Ministry of health
2- Documentation as per the standards of the Ministry of Commerce, Chamber of
Commerce, and as per international export standards
3- Quality of items and expiry dates– As per the standards set by the Ministry of
health
4- Statements of supplied goods quality assurances and guarantees
5- Proof of continuous supply capability

5- Points of Reference

You are requested to submit:

1- Your company profile

2- Your production capability
3- Senior Management statement of experience
4- A list of the previously supplied customers and in which countries
5- Documentation samples
6- Proof of prices stability and guarantee

6- Deadline
This is an urgent requirement, and proposal/presentation of options should
occur by latest, the 30th of January, 2014

Kindly submit both an electronic copy and a hardcopy of your proposal and
supporting information, no later than the 30th of January, 2014

Your proposal must include a detailed cost proposal in line with what is
described above, and the relevant time frame for complete delivery of
goods to be ordered
