Current Employment Major Accomplishment (500 Words) (Include previous Employment Accomplishment)

Glimpse of my major career moves:

My career progression has been in diverse yet logically conjoined profiles. I started in FMCG operations with Unilever and learnt
nuances of manufacturing operations, product development and end to end supply chain function, subsequently I built on this
operations domain experience and made a transition to operations focused ERP and process re-engineering consulting profile.

While the diversity yielded breadth and depth to my operations experience; opportune and selectively chosen consulting assignmen
for new age players such as 3D Printing exposed me to new domains beyond my expertise in FMCG/CPG domain.

I have lived and worked across continents, including North America, Europe, and Asia, on short-term (5 days to one month) and
longer term (unto one year) engagements and understand the business environment and culture of most business regions around
world. In my professional career, I have led teams ranging from 5 (in consulting assignments) to 250 (in manufacturing assignments
people, many of them highly multi-cultural and drawn often from more than 5 nations. I revel in a diverse environment and wish to
augment my strengths by joining PGPX.

Globally published work: I have authored research papers and white papers in international fora and global internal forums for TCS
Infosys, and Unilever, on various aspects of manufacturing, Supplier Innovation, and digital. Although my future focus on the area is
not research-centric, I mention these to highlight my expertise and thought leadership in the domain.

International Exposure

Infosys Limited Arrow (Jul 18/05/2008 - 18/03/ 2009

This was my first year long international business trip to a major business hub, Hongkong, a conduit to Asia. Starry eyed,
I landed in Hongkong to work as a Supply Chain expert to lead customer initiatives for a greenfield ERP implementation.
The ERP implementation, largest in Oracle Applications history, was rolled out to 200 countries. As a Functional lead,
I performed key roles during global blueprinting phase leading and participating in key workshops attended by people from
over 50 nationalities.

Managing customer expectations, applying domain expertise to solve customer problems and using functional features of
Oracle ERP to blue print business process were some of the regular activities that I performed during my stay. I led multi-cultu
2-10 members.

Key learning was to understand how important the collaboration in a multi-cultural environment is. On a lighter v
I had a couple of study visits to China to understand first SEZ in Shenzen, I also made a few fun visits to Macau
to try my luck on roulette. Twin cities of Honkong and Macau are the practical replica of the saying: Work Hard,
Play harder. I learnt this concept and much more in my maiden overseas visit.

a. As Infosys Limited Oracle Functional Consulting Projects for Fortune 500 Coffee Retailer (Jul 30/07/2011 - 03/10/ 2011)
My second international trip of 4 months and a first to a western economy, was happening to say the least.
The image is still fresh like the morning coffee aroma in the Testing sessions at the global corporate headquarters
the iconic coffee retailer, sensory evaluation of the nuances of slight variations of Arabica and Robusta.

Being a dairy & food technologist by training, I could apply my domain experience and Oracle E-Business Suite
knowhow for complex business driven ERP upgrade project of my customer, which has redefined the way people
experience coffee. The larger objective was to have more agile ERP solution in place which would exploit new
features offered by Oracle to become more customer centric.

Having spent a significant time in leading offshore development team, I travelled to US to be closer to client
business SMEs for steering solution buy in on key milestones. Mainly worked on Procurement and process
manufacturing operations of ERP. Key performance indicators were to achieve consensus between business
understanding by client users and technical verbiage used by software developers.

a. B) Infosys Limited PepsiCo (Jul 08/06/2012 - 03/10/ 2012

This 4 month trip to Peterborough in Canada was for a strategic project of our client, the North America food business of one of th
two Cola majors. I operated from the NA Food Division headquarters and the worlds oldest oats manufacturing facility situated on
banks of Otonabee River in Peterborough. I worked as a lead Supply Chain Consultant on some of the key aspects such as

1. Devise process re-engineering strategy to bring common IT landscape and Process harmonization between acquired busines

2. Designing Co-mingling & outlier processes for Warehouse and Direct store delivery distribution strategies

Having designed Go to market offerings as a part of CPG COE in Infosys, my involvement was from Pre-Sales presentation, Proposa
Writing to blue printing and solution deployment.

Based on insights, I created a blog titled as - Mergers & Acquisitions: Look Beyond Bean Counting: IT Demands Its Due, that says
given critical role of IT in deciding whether mergers deliver the expected value, the key strategic decisions belong not only to bean
counters or financial advisers and strategy consultant but also to IT executives who assess IT synergies of merged entity.
