Better Life Technologies Group Incorporated (Plaintiff) secured a patent for technology for a
wireless wearable device designed for patients suffering from diabetes, heart conditions, and other
medical conditions that require monitoring. Plaintiff's technology is stored and transmitted via a
wristband or other wearable devices worn by patients. Plaintiff alleged Kaiser Permanente
peculated their technology thereby violating the alleged signed NDA agreement.
