Motivation 
To inculcate sports as a hobby in the students of our campus and to present the problems faced by 
the students to the council, to ensure an improvement in the performance of IIT Roorkee at the 
upcoming Inter IIT Sports Meet (2018) and to assist the General Secretary of Sports towards the 
betterment of the sports at IIT Roorkee. 

Agenda 
My vision as one of the selected representatives of the students of IIT Roorkee is of a threefold 
nature and I shall enumerate my plan of action for each as follows:  

● Increasing the interest for sports among the students by allowing only non-Inter IIT players 
to take part in inter bhawan sports meet as already practiced in IIT Delhi. 
● Recruiting the better performers of the Inter bhawan meet to the team. 
● Many students are uncomfortable giving the trials of NSO just after they reach the college 
so it should be delayed for better results. 
● The Inter IIT equipments to be brought in a bit earlier so that the students have time to get 
familiar with them. 
● Ensuring regular and efficient communication between the Bhawan Spores Secretaries, 
game specific Secretaries and the General Secretary to keep him well informed.
