membrana celular epitelial.
Palabras clave: Zona, Complejo Unión, Cara Luminal, Cara Basolateral, Anclaje.
ABSTRACT
In the area adjacent to the surface of the epithelium, the lateral surface of the cells has an
intercellular junction system called the junction complex. This system joins the cells together,
allows stable cells to be formed with the adjacent cells and defines the luminal and basolateral
faces of each cell, which contributes to the speed of the cellular structure and the anchoring
point to the tonofilaments.
If the tight junctions disappear, the asymmetry in the distribution of molecules between the
luminal and basolateral membranes disappears, losing the polarized organization of the
epithelial cell membrane.
Keywords: Zone, Union Complex, Luminal Face, Basolateral Face, Anchorage.
