How to use
Unit tests
There are two tests at the end of each unit – an A test and a B test: the B tests are at
a more challenging level than the A tests.

Each test covers the vocabulary, grammar and writing from the unit.

The tests are marked out of 50. The number of marks allocated to each exercise
appears next to the exercise, there is a space at the top of the test sheet for the total
marks to be recorded.

End-of-term tests
There are two tests for the end of each term – an A test and a B test: the B tests are
more challenging than the A tests.

Each test has grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening exercises
designed to cover the term’s work.

The end-of-term tests are marked out of 100, the number of marks allocated to each
exercise appears next to the exercise, there is a space at the top of the test sheet for
the total marks to be recorded.
