‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or
what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life
more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the
air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly
Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And can any of
you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? And why do you
worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they
neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not
clothed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which
is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much
more clothe you—you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying,
“What will we eat?” or “What will we drink?” or “What will we wear?” For

The Breaking of the Bread
The Celebrant breaks the consecrated Bread.

Facing the people, the Celebrant says the following Invitation
The Gifts of God for the People of God. Take them in remem-
brance that Christ died for you, and feed on him in your hearts by
faith with thanksgiving.
The Holy Communion
All those baptized are welcomed and encouraged to receive the conse-
crated bread and wine of Holy Communion. Those who do not wish
to receive Communion may receive a blessing by crossing their arms
over their chest. Those desiring gluten-free bread may request it from
the priest.
You may receive the consecrated bread by extending your opened
palms, one atop the other, to the priest. You may receive the conse-
crated wine by drinking directly from the chalice, or by presenting the
bread to the chalice-bearer to intinct and place on your tongue. If you
do not wish to receive the wine, know that the fullness of this holy
Sacrament is present in both kinds alone: receiving only the bread is
fine.

Remember all who minister in your Church. Remember all your
people, and those who seek your truth. Remember all who have
died in the peace of Christ, and those whose faith is known to you
alone; bring them into the place of eternal joy and light.
Prayers for the several rooms of the house are offered at this time. The Celebrant, with
members of the household and others move from room to room, concluding the proces-
sion in the living room.

Lord, we pray that in your goodness and mercy your Holy

Grant that all who share this bread and cup may become one
body and one spirit, a living sacrifice in Christ, to the praise

We acclaim you, holy Lord, glorious in power. Your mighty

you came to our help, so that in seeking you we might find

and through the prophets you taught us to hope for salvation.
Father, you loved the world so much that in the fullness of
time you sent your only Son to be our Savior. Incarnate by
