EL HOMBRE QUE NUNCA DEJA DE SONREIR

Había una vez un señor que estaba todo el día sonriendo. Cuando todo el mundo
protestaba porque hacía mucho calor y se escondía bajo la sombra de los árboles,
aquel hombre paseaba sonriendo, como si disfrutara del sol. Y cuando hacía
mucho frío y la gente gruñía porque se le helaban hasta las ideas, aquel hombre
sonreía mientras paseaba sintiendo el frío en la cara.

Si llovía, el hombre sonreía. Si había ruido en la calle, el hombre sonreía. Si tenía

que hacer cola para comprar o pagar, el hombre sonreía. Si tenía que atender a
una persona malhumorada, el hombre sonreía. Si alguien le negaba el saludo por
la calle, el hombre sonreía. Y, cómo no, si alguien se burlaba de él porque estaba
todo el día sonriendo, el hombre también sonreía.
Un día, entre unos cuantos chicos que se reunían en el parque todas las tardes
para pasar el rato decidieron poner a prueba al hombre que siempre sonreía.

La noticia de que el hombre que no paraba de sonreír pronto perdería la sonrisa

se fue corriendo. Mientras tanto, los chavos pulían su plan, ajenos al revuelo que
se había formado por su idea.

Y así, mientras los chavos rodeaban al hombre que siempre sonreía, la gente iba
llegando. Cuando se quisieron dar cuenta, los chicos tenía a su alrededor a
cientos de personas expectantes.
-¡Qué reunión tan interesante! -dijo el hombre, tan sonriente como siempre-.
¿Ocurre algo?

-Si ahora mismo te vamos a quitar la sonrisa que tienes

El público contemplaba estupefacto la escena. Uno de los chicos empezó a dar

palmas rítmicamente, marcando el tiempo, invitando con ello a que el público
aplaudiera, y así armarse de valor y hacer más espectacular lo que tenía pensado
hacer para que el hombre dejara de sonreír. Sin embargo, el hombre empezó a
marcar un interesante ritmo sencillo, invitando a unos cuantos espectadores a
seguirlo. Su sonrisa era cada vez más grande. A otro grupo le marcó otro ritmo
más complejo, y así hasta montó una orquesta rítmica. Desde el centro, el hombre
dirigía la orquesta a su antojo, marcando tiempos rápidos y lentos, combinando
frases intensas y otras suaves, silenciando grupos enteros y haciendo todas las
piruetas musicales que se le fueron ocurriendo.
El público, contagiado de la alegría y la emoción, participaba entregado. Mientras,
los chicos se miraban sin saber qué hacer. Estaban rodeados y no podían salir,
pero tampoco sabían cómo interrumpir la fiesta. Al cabo de un rato, el hombre
paró. Todo el público aplaudió.

-¿Se puede saber por qué nunca dejas de sonreír? -le gritó uno de los niños.

El hombre feliz le contesto y le dije a todos en voz alta: no importa cuales sean tus
adversidades, tus problemas, tus derrotas, sabemos que eso es pasajero, uno
debe de ser siempre optimista ante todo lo que nos pase.
Todos tenemos problemas en la vida, a veces nos va mal en el trabajo, pero no
importa como este nuestro día, al final del día debemos de sacarle provecho a
todo lo que nos pasó y aprender de cada situación.

Siempre debemos de mostrar un actitud positiva a nuestra vida a nuestro día,

aunque haya personas o algo que quieran cambiarlo.

Si hay días soleados y también días grises pero nuestra actitud positiva nos hace
ser diferentes.

Siempre seamos optimistas ante cualquier obstáculo o situación.

 THE MAN WHO NEVER STOPS FROM SMILING

Once there was a gentleman who was smiling all day. When everyone protested
because it was very hot and hid under the shade of the trees, the man walked
smiling, as if enjoying the sun. And when it was very cold and people growled
because they froze up to the ideas, that man smiled while walking feeling the cold
on his face.

If it rained, the man smiled. If there was noise in the street, the man smiled. If he
had to stand in line to buy or pay, the man smiled. If he had to tend to a bad-
tempered person, the man would smile. If someone denied him the greeting on the
street, the man smiled. And, of course, if someone made fun of him because he
was smiling all day, the man also smiled.
One day, among a few guys who met in the park every afternoon to pass the time
decided to test the man who always smiled.

The news that the man who did not stop smiling would soon lose the smile ran
away. Meanwhile, the kids polished his plan, oblivious to the commotion that had
been formed by his idea.

And so, while the kids surrounded the man who always smiled, people came.
When they wanted to give an account, the boys had around them hundreds of
expectant people.
- What an interesting meeting! said the man, smiling as always. Something wrong?

-If right now we're going to take away the smile you have

The audience stared at the scene in astonishment. One of the children began to
clap his hands rhythmically, marking time, inviting the audience to applaud, and
thus arm himself with courage and make more spectacular what he had planned to
do so that the man would stop smiling. However, the man started to score an
interesting simple rhythm, inviting a few spectators to follow him. His smile was
getting bigger. Another group was marked by another, more complex rhythm, and
even a rhythmic orchestra was mounted. From the center, the man directed the
orchestra at will, marking fast and slow times, combining intense and soft phrases,
silencing entire groups and doing all the musical tricks that occurred to him.
The public, infected with joy and emotion, participated delivered. Meanwhile, the
boys looked at each other without knowing what to do. They were surrounded and
could not leave, but they also did not know how to interrupt the party. After a while,
the man stopped. The entire audience applauded.

- Can you know why you never stop smiling? shouted one of the children

The happy man answered and told everyone aloud: no matter what your
adversities, your problems, your defeats, we know that this is temporary, one must
always be optimistic about everything that happens to us.
We all have problems in life, sometimes we do poorly at work, but no matter how
our day is, at the end of the day we should take advantage of everything that
happened to us and learn from each situation.

We must always show a positive attitude to our life to our day, even if there are
people or something that wants to change it. We must always show a positive

Always be optimistic about any obstacle or situation.
