 INTRODUCTION

1.1 BACKGROUND
Indonesian International Medical Olympiad 2018 will be held on 16th – 20th
October 2018 in Faculty of Medicine of University of Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta,
Indonesia. The delegates will have the experience of the comprehensive examination
in the field of Cardiorespiration, Digestive, Musculoskeletal, Uroreproduction,
Neuropsychiatry, and Infectious disease. Each university can register maximum 1 team
for the each competition field. Each team consist of 2 medical students from the same
university. Therefore, there are 6 teams in total which will be selected to join the
competition based on their responses on short essays and motivation letters.
Our delegates from UPH need to be prepared and trained for the competition.
We think that preparation of UPH delegates is important to gain maximal results on the
competition. That is why, we, GTU member, would like to arrange a preparation and
training for UPH delegates who compete in Indonesian International Medical Olympiad
2018.
There are several main points that we would like to emphasize on this occasion.
First, preparation include training and budgeting, where will be arranged from now to
make sure UPH delegates can compete maximally. Second, the training are planned to
be held on from 15th July until 15th October 2018. The last, we hope faculty can
accommodate the budgeting for registration and transportation fee for all UPH
delegates and advisor.
Preparation is a vital component to provide our delegates to do their best in the
competition. As our delegates success in the competition, we hope UPH Faculty of
Medicine will become more known and can add some impact for our accreditation.

1.2 PURPOSE
The purpose from this prepration and training are for:
 To make UPH delegates more prepared and ready to compete in
Indonesian International Medical Olympiad 2018
 To make sure all UPH delegates are officially registered for the
competition
 BASIC CONCEPT

2.1 NAME OF THE ACTIVITY

The name of this activity is called preparation for Indonesian International Medical
Olympiad 2018

2.2 CONCEPT OF THE ACTIVITY

This activity emphasized on training UPH delegates for the competition and providing
accommodation and fees for the delegates.

2.3 COMMENCEMENT
IMO will be held on : 16th – 20th October 2018
Training will be held on : 15th July - 15th October 2018
Application period : 7th May – 8th June 2018

2.4 PLACE
IMO will take place at Faculty of Medicine of University of Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta,
Indonesia.

2.5 PREPARATION’S PLAN

The training planned to be held on one session.
1. First, 15th July - 15th October 2018. The participants will be trained by advisor
once monthly (or as they pleased).
The participant for first session are 12 UPH delegates for IMO 2018
