UE Freshmen Film Festival: Take 3 or Season 3 Commented [Office1]: Finalize

Theme: “UE Broadcasting taking indie filmmaking to the next level in the era
of interactive and emerging media” Commented [Office2]: Finalize

Mechanics:
1. The event is open to all bona fide students of the University of the East, Manila who are
taking up AB Broadcasting and currently enrolled at the course ABC 1104: Introduction
to Information Technology with Media Applications;
2. Pre-prod, prod, and post-prod along with the necessary screening by the professor
concerned have been conducted prior to the event. The event will have one round, final
round only;
3. The event will be held on October 5 or 12, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the
Conference Hall; Commented [Office3]: Finalize
4. Finalists must submit the final poster and teaser two weeks prior to the film fest and final
full-blown indie film material one week prior to the aforesaid event;
5. Finalists must utilize the Adobe Premier Pro CC as main editing platform;
6. Finalists must wear their student ID during the event and at the venue;
7. Finalists must be in semiformal attire;
8. Finalists should be at the venue at least an hour earlier. Those who come after the event
has started will no longer be allowed to join the event; Commented [Office4]: Finalize
9. The criteria for judging are:

Performance Quality 30%

Communication Skills 20%
Star Quality 20%
Audience Rapport 30%
TOTAL 100% Commented [Office5]: Finalize

10. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable; and

11. Winner will get the privilege to be the Department’s designated entry for off-campus
similar events in the future.
