According to Kofi Annan ,"We may have different religions , different languages , different

colored skin , but we all belong to one human race." Yes, every person in this word is unique
and different . Diversity means difference , variations, and unlikeness. While harmony with
diversity means every person in this world accepts, encompasses and respects each other .
Live in harmony with diversity is not difficult like putting socks on a rooster but is just about
understanding each other and moving beyond simple tolerance to embracing the
importance of diversity and appreciate the beautifulness of diversity.

It is very important to nurture and cherish harmony within diversity. Firstly, it is a source of
tourism. The country that has diverse cultures, tradition, religions, beliefs, and clothing will
attract more visitors and tourism to that country. The interaction and the assimilation of
culture between different races in a country will attract a lot of visitors as it creates a subtle
relations. The harmony within diversity in a country will increase the economy growth
indirectly. In addition, harmony within diversity enhancing the relationship and teamwork
among people and it will improve the productivity and also the performance of work. The
person who lives in diversity will tend to be a better person as that person will learn how to
respect and tolerance each other as they understand every people from different culture

taboo, and others. Therefore for sure, the controversy and argument will reduce drastically.
As upcoming youth need to know the importance of harmony, parents must always teach
their children noble values such as tolerance, rational since they are children and they must
always be a role model to their children. Investing in a child is to invest in society's future. So
the harmony can be nurtured if the importance of harmony within diversity is learned by
children. Besides, every people that live in diversity country must have the spirits of loving
their country and self-identity. They must get away from the action the actions that can
cause provocation of races. Although everyone is given freedom to speak but we cannot use
the chance to touch the sensitive issues that will destroy the relationship among diversity.

If the harmony of diversity is destroyed, a country or community will always live in a chaos
situation. Social problems such as fights, snatching, kidnapping, and arguments will happen
everywhere. For example, if the house of a Chinese neighbour is on fire but the Malay
neighbour does not lend a hand to their neigbours because of the different race. Maybe, it
seems a small problems to the social but soon it will lead to bigger problems because of the
selfishness of a person. Soon, there is no any warm in the social. The safety of the person
will soon be affected and that person will live under a frightening situation. A country that
does not cherish or nurture the importance of harmony within diversity will lead to more
serious problems such as civil wars.

others. Just like Indus civilization, they live harmony with diversity and accept the knowledge
of Mesopotamia civilization. Hence, they successfully build the cities such as Harappa and
Mohenjo-Daro. People should unity and cherish the harmony within diversity as they bring a
lot of advantage in our life. Harmony within diversity can make a country have a strong
foundation and become a prosperous and strong country.
