1.) This photo represents a cognitive image of my neighborhood and its contents, which is
located on redan road and Panola road. What is displayed here is my idea of cognitive
distance and how far certain buildings are spaced from each other.
2.) This picture is a representation of cognitive space because it is a mental map of the area
and distances based on my experience within the area, as well as my psychological
representation of the area based on my impression. Also this is a representation of
cognitive space because it is not categorized by math or particular coordinates but is
based in terms of landmarks, roads/paths, and environments/buildings.
3.) This space is representative/shapes my everyday life because I use this area a distance
gauge to traveling to other areas. For example, I may use the distance to get from my
house to this area and compare it to going from one location to the next. I also use this
area as a guide to how far I may need to travel to go to a location or as a reference point
to how far someone needs to travel whether by bus or by car.
