The control of boiler water pH and
alkalinity levels are important issue
affecting the operation and
maintenance of boiler systems.
Contraxide is formulated using
strong alkaline treatment that can
be used in control of feedwater pH,
also contains sludge conditioning
and scale preventing polymers.
MECHANISM BASED ON :
Strong alkaline property of Contraxide
neutralizes any acid present and
contributing suitable alkalinity level to meet
ideal condition of the boiler water.
Contraxide also provide a proper
environment for precipitation of desirable
sludge materials.

TYPICAL DOSAGE RANGE :
Contraxide is continuously dosed via
the feed tank, the rate of addition
being adjusted to maintain the correct
pH and alkalinity.
DIRECTION :
Allow the boiler to be conditioned for
24 hours then test the Alkalinity and
pH value. The boiler water must be
always conditioned as follows :
Ÿ pH : 10-11.5
Ÿ Total Alkalinity : 200-700 ppm

Super-catalyzed oxygen scavenger to prevent
corrosion in boiler and feedwater system
Corrosion by oxygen in the boiler
can be controlled by the addition of
Deox+ to the preboiler section of
the steam generating systems.
Deox+ is a powerful oxygen
scavenger that scientically
formulated from supercatalyzed
sodium sulte to deliver protection
for both low and medium pressure
steam boilers.
MECHANISM BASED ON :
Deox+ is a high performance oxygen
scavenger that rapidly reacts with oxygen
ensuring efcient protection of feedlines
and boilers from corrosion and enhancing
protection against caustic embrittlement.
The oxygen scavenging property is
illustrated by the following reaction :

TYPICAL DOSAGE RANGE :
Deox+ should be dosed at the rate
10 ppm for every ppm of dissolved
oxygen in the feedwater. A reserve of
approx. 50 ppm of sulte should be
maintained in the boiler water.

into the feed water line. Use a
chemical injection pump for maximum
and stable treatment performance.

MECHANISM BASED ON :
Corrover will stabilize the hardness salts
present in the feed water, it will hydrolyse in
the boiler to form orthophosphates, then
combine with the calcium-magnesium
compounds in the water to form insoluble
that can be blown down as sludge.
The polyelectrolytes and hydrazine provide
synergistic protection against corrosion due
to chlorides, carbon dioxide and oxygen.

CO2 reacts with the condensate to

treatment, this acid reduces the pH of
the condensate and leads to
corrosion attack of steam line.
The pH can be controlled within a
specied non-corrosive range by the
continuous dosage of a neutralizing
amine, such as Termamine.

corrosion in condensate systems by
