Do you delight in the Lord? What does that mean? Do you seek Him for all your needs? Do you
give Him thanks for the good days and even the bad days in school? Do you ask Him to help
your students and colleagues to be successful? Do you think about Him? Does He give you
great pleasure? DelighAng in the Lord is trusAng and knowing that He has created you to be an

educator and that He will give you all the desires of your heart when you delight in Him. As we
delight in Him, we will learn how to delight in our students also, even and perhaps especially,
those who don’t deserve our love. Be delighted in all that you do. It’s contagious.
